Briony Dunn

Program Leader

Briony Dunn is a theatre director, dramaturge, acting coach and arts leader with particular focus on interpreting her experience as artist practitioner into educator. Briony's most recent position was Literary Manager at Theatre Works where she was also Festival Director of the Radical Acts playwriting festival.

Briony is co-Artistic Director of Iron Lung Theatre, an MTC Women in Theatre alumni (2020-21), a directing graduate of NIDA and has a Master of Arts in Theatre (UNSW). Briony has worked with and taught at some of Australia’s finest arts organisations including Theatre Works, Company B Belvoir, Griffin Theatre Company, Belvoir Downstairs, NIDA, ATYP, PACT & Stark Youth Theatres and Playwriting Australia.
