Saxophonist Savannah Blount graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts [Improvisation Stream] and also holds a Diploma in Education and a Masters in Music [Contemporary Practice]. Savannah has regularly performed both locally and internationally in a wide variety of genres including jazz, pop, rock and hip hop.
Savannah works and tours in both the corporate and independent music sectors and has performed with artists including Robbie Williams, Don Burrows, James Morrison, Kevin Hunt, Bob Sedergreen, Deborah Conway, Architecture in Helsinki, David Campbell, Rhonda Burchmore, Wilbur Wilde, Gil Asky, Ninna Ferro, Carl Cox, Kate Miller Heidke, Tim Rogers, Kate Cebrano, Tex Perkins, Steve Kilby, Harry Angus, Mojo JuJu, Thando, Clare Bowditch, Jen Cloher, Melbourne Women’s Jazz Festival Sextet, Gian Slater, Andrea Keller, Tony Haynes Grand Union Orchestra [UK], Oliver Mann [Opera Victoria], Jo Sehee [USA], SPIRE Ensemble, Masta Ace [US], Megan Washington and Vince Jones.
