We offer flexible study options to suit your life and career goals:
Here are some ways you can strike the perfect balance between life and study at Collarts:
You can enrol on a full-time or part-time basis, with many opportunities throughout your studies to change and customise your subjects. Our full-time study options for a bachelor degree typically spans across only two years, instead of the standard three. Full-time study is perfect for those who want to be qualified and working hands-on in the industry as soon as possible, clearing the way for more practical industry experience and early career growth.
Need more time for a better work-life balance? Studying a bachelor degree part-time can take anywhere between three to four years, accommodating your work and life commitments. With part-time study you set the pace, so you can keep juggling life while working on your long-term career goals.
Of course, life circumstances and goals can change. Our students often switch between the two study load options so they can have more space or seize valuable opportunities. For example, one trimester may be part-time to complete an internship, but the next could be full-time.
If you prefer a traditional learning style with face-to-face interactions, then studying on-campus may be for you. With in-person study, you’ll be taught in a variety of classrooms across our vibrant campuses in Melbourne’s creative hub. Plus you’ll have access to all of our cutting-edge facilities and spaces.
In contrast, studying online is a great alternative to fit around a busy schedule. With online classes you can login from anywhere and comfortably attend classes with zero commute time. And of course, you’ll still have access to all of our facilities, events and be part of our Collarts community.
You can also choose to study both on-campus and online (blended study). Whether you choose to do lectures online, hands-on tutorials on-campus, or live interactive classes over Zoom, you’ll still get the same support and accessibility from your teachers. By exploring these options, you can take advantage of both physical and digital spaces to better suit your learning needs.
